Izmir University of Economics Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Program Objectives
The aim of the Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation program is to educate physiotherapists who possess knowledge of physical activity and therapeutic concepts; who understand the importance of exercise and physiotherapy modalities in health promotion; who are able to assess individuals within a biopsychosocial framework; who can develop evidence-based physiotherapy prescriptions for the treatment of diseases; who can identify physical health problems in society and develop appropriate solutions; who recognize the importance of lifelong learning and continuously follow the scientific literature; who are capable of collecting and evaluating scientific data related to their field; and who possess teamwork skills, universal professional values and competencies, critical thinking abilities, as well as creative and entrepreneurial qualities.
