Course Objectives This course aims to teach all physiotherapy and rehabilitation evaluation and analysis methods from the perspective of a physiotherapist to patients with physiotherapy and rehabilitation indications and healthy individuals who will be given exercise prescriptions.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • take the histories of patients with different diagnoses;
  • define general problems about the patient and the disease;
  • apply postural analysis and define postural disorders seen in sick or healthy people;
  • apply shortness, flexibility, muscle strength tests, and anthropometric measurements (circumference, length, diameter and fat tissue measurements);
  • evaluate normal joint movements.
Course Description This course includes demographic features and history taking, observation, palpation, posture analysis, shortness tests and flexibility assessment, anthropometric measurements, normal joint movement assessment, muscle strength assessment, sensory, balance, coordination assessments, assessments of the cardiac and pulmonary system, functional status and quality of life assessments.
