Course Objectives The aim of this course is to acquire the basics of exercise science to be used as an integral part of physiotherapy and rehabilitation program.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • describe the exercise techniques.
  • explain the appropriate exercise program for spinal disorders.
  • compare isometric, isotonic and isokinetic exercise types.
  • classify group and individual exercises.
  • describe stretching exercises and relaxation training.
Course Description The content of this course is; effects and principles of exercise therapy, classification of exercise and planning and applications of exercise program.
