Course Objectives The aim of this course is to teach the students the basic clinical medical sciences related to the internal and surgical diseases that are common in the clinic and the basic properties of the drugs that are widely used in the society and affect the body systems.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • Describe the diagnosis methods, findings, classifications and prognosis of diseases that are common in internal and surgical clinics.
  • Associate common diseases in internal and surgical clinics with medical treatments.
  • List common surgical applications, risky situations before and after surgery.
  • Define the pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of drugs.
  • Classify drugs and list their properties.
  • Evaluate drug toxicity and abuse.
  • Explain the mechanism of action of drugs used in the treatment of pain and inflammation.
  • Explain the mechanism of action of drugs that affect systems.
Course Description This course; It includes the findings, classification, diagnosis, course of the disease, and the drugs used in the treatment of these diseases and surgical applications related to common diseases in internal and surgical clinical sciences.
