Course Objectives The aim of this course is to evaluate the mechanisms of problems that require oncological rehabilitation, clinical approaches, patient evaluation and follow-up with case examples.
Learning Outcomes The students who succeeded in this course;
  • explain oncological rehabilitation;
  • discuss clinical problems related to oncological rehabilitation;
  • define evidence-based physiotherapy evaluation and treatment approaches in oncological diseases;
  • explain physiotherapy programs suitable for different types of oncological cancer;
  • compare neurological, musculoskeletal and cardiopulmonary assessment approaches in oncologic rehabilitation.
Course Description This course covers general concepts and multidisciplinary approach in oncological rehabilitation, evaluation of cancer patients, functional and musculoskeletal problems in cancer patients, different types of cancer and case studies.
